Close to half a billion animals died from the wild bush fires in Australia! Mammals, birds, and retiles died directly or from habitat or food loss.
News reporters say that 480M is just an estimate. The number of animals killed in the wildfires is way more than 480M. Their wildlife is seriously threatened.
