
Amur tigers, also known as Siberian tigers are the world’s largest cats. They are fierce and are known for majesty and strength.
Habitat:
Amur tigers live in birch forests. They are found in eastern Russia. Some live in China, North Korea, or Siberia.

Diet
Amur tigers are carnivores. They need large prey to survive. Amur tigers diet consists of wild boar, sika deer, red deer, Manchurian elk, and goral deer. They have been reported eating brown and black bears.
In the summer, they feed on smaller prey such as racoon dogs, badgers, hares, rabbits, and salmon.

Appearance
Just like snow leopards, Amur tigers are furry animals. Their fur is orange with black stripes. Under their body reveals white fur with black stripes.
Amur tiger’s snout is golden brown with white whiskers while the rest of their face is covered in black spots.
They have a flexible body and a long tail.
Amur tigers are 72-82 inches in length. Their tail is about 36 – 39 inches.

Behaviour
Just like cheetahs, snow leopards are solitary animals(they work alone unless the have cubs).
They are extremely territorial and aggressive but they avoid contact with humans.
To mark their territories, Amur tigers spray urine on tress and rocks.
